Have Yourself a Salty Little Christmas

Robert Palomo playing with Shanty Choir Tallship MIR'Tis the season once again. Another year winds down. Everybody and their mother with anything for sale is after you to buy "the perfect holiday gift!!!" So why should I be different? Well, actually I do have something to offer that...

  • is unique - you won't find it anywhere else
  • "keeps on giving" long after the holidays are past
  • helps people in desperate need when you buy it

A musical gift for those who've been "nautical and nice"!

It was during the Christmas season 1 year ago that I hooked up with Saint Petersburg's Shanty Choir Tallship MIR. It's been a hugely fun year, and it has inspired me to write some original sea songs... fun music that will make a super, unique gift, especially for folks who are:

  • Navy personnel - active or retired, Uncle Sam's, The Queen's, or anyone else's "nai-vee"
  • Merchant seamen or women
  • Recreational sailors and yachtsmen
  • Boat owners of any sort
  • Folk music fans (English, Irish/Scottish/Celtic)
  • Banjo players - my arrangements include banjo

Check our this "new old sea shanty" I wrote especially for this holiday season:

You can buy other original sea songs on my Sea Songs page (and you can listen to them before you buy!)

I've also got some cool, original nautical ringtones - perfect for every sea dog's mobile phone!

Your gift of music does double duty!

This year, profits from sales of my original sea songs will go to support the work of Doctors Without Borders (Medcins sans Frontiers). MSF delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters. When you buy my music as a gift, you'll also be helping some of the world's most dedicated medical professionals deliver care to people in desperate need.

THANK YOU for your support! And have a joyous year-end holiday season, whatever you celebrate, however you celebrate it!
